1. Introduction

At EASYTEK BUSINESS SOLUTIONS, we are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with financial regulations. As a regulated fintech platform, we are required by law to maintain records of transactions and user identities for audit purposes.

Therefore, we do not provide an automated "Delete Account" button inside the app. Instead, users can request to have their account marked as "Inactive" or "Suspended". This ensures that your account is no longer accessible, while necessary data is preserved strictly for regulatory compliance.

2. How to Request Account Deactivation

Since there is no direct delete option in the app, you must contact our support team to initiate this process. You can use one of the following methods:

Method 1: Email Request

Send an email from your registered email address with the subject line: "Request to Deactivate Account".

Include: Your Registered Mobile Number & Reason for leaving.
Method 2: Contact Support

You can also contact our support team via WhatsApp or Call to request account deactivation.

3. What Happens After Your Request?

Once we receive your request, the following actions will be taken within 7-14 business days:

  • Account Deactivation: Your account status will be changed to "Inactive". You will no longer be able to log in or perform any transactions.
  • Data Retention (Not Deletion): Due to RBI and government audit regulations, your KYC documents and transaction history will NOT be deleted immediately. They will be securely archived for the mandatory period (usually 5-10 years) to prevent money laundering or fraud.
  • Wallet Balance: If you have any remaining balance, please withdraw it or transfer it before submitting the request. Once deactivated, the wallet balance may be forfeited.

4. Why We Cannot Delete Data?

Regulatory Compliance: As per the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) and IT Act, financial service providers are legally obligated to retain user records for audit trails. Deleting this data would be a violation of the law. Therefore, we only disable access to the account.
